This is a Premiere Trailer for an Academy of Art collaborative project launching Spring 2013. It played in the Fall Animation Festival! woohoo!
The plan, originally, was for only 2 animators, Me and Olivia Pellicer. Me as kitty, her as monster - then trading off, and drawing both, during the super-cuddly-contact (me) and the lick (Olivia). But the fullness of the workload was soon realized, and 2 animators became 7. Not enough can be said about the help I got from Mike - he was there constantly helping us with timing and drawings - doing everything necessary to pull this piece to the finish line.
This is just a cute trailer for the bigger short story that's just getting off the ground - but it was an invaluable practice-run for how to coordinate and handle the pipeline laters : )
